You’ll receive the pay stubs as a PDF file.
Pay stub generators are legal and safe to use. Since pay stub generators use templates that contain all the important information about an employee’s earnings, they serve as a practical and time-saving alternative for most businesses.
User Questions
Usually, a Social Security number is sufficient. Larger companies may use an employee ID as part of their bookkeeping system, but most small businesses don’t use them.
The pay period is up to you, so choose the pay frequency that best fits your business needs. The options include weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks), semi-monthly (twice per month), or monthly pay periods. Once you choose, be consistent across your workforce. If you pay one employee bi-weekly, pay all your employees bi-weekly.
You will receive your pay stubs or other documents by email immediately once you place the order. Please check your Junk-Mail or Spam folder if you don’t get it.

You can backdate pay stubs going back as far as three years. You should always start with the first pay stub and then generate them in sequence to ensure you don’t miss a date. Review each pay stub as you go so you end up with the correct Year-To-Date (YTD) amounts.
No. You must download or email the documents to yourself and then forward the email to the employee.
To add a vacation pay amount, go to the Income page and click “Add Another Income Type” below the “Regular Income” line. Change it from an hourly rate to fixed and enter the pre-calculated amount.
To make YTD amounts appear on a pay stub, go to the Income page and enter previous period amounts in the YTD Income and Deductions section. These amounts will be added to the current period amounts and shown as YTD on the pay stub. Clicking the plus (+) sign opens the YTD Income and Deductions section. Click the “?” in a circle for more instructions.
If you’re unsure about the deductions or other figures, you should speak with an experienced bookkeeper.
